Physical Therapist Assistant - PRN - Rehabilitation Services
POSITION SUMMARY:
Renders physical therapy treatment as outlined in the patient’s plan of care in collaboration with the licensed physical therapist consistent with PTA’s formal education and training in service areas that may include Acute/Swing, Outpatient, Long Term Care, and Home Care.
II. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:
Graduate of an approved program for physical therapist assistant, currently licensed as a physical therapist assistant with indirect supervision or possesses temporary license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Must obtain physical therapist assistant with indirect supervision license within two year of employment date. Attends a minimum of two continuing education courses annually. Post graduation clinical experience preferred.
