Security Manager
POSITION SUMMARY: As the Security Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring the overall security of our facilities by overseeing the administration, coordination, planning, development, implementation, and enforcement of the security program for patients, residents, and employees. Must have ability to handle emergent and stressful situations in order to make sound, swift decisions involving safety and security. The manager is also responsible for maintaining external relationships with the PA State Police, local Sheriff’s Office, local fire companies, air transport companies, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS AND STANDARDS
Education: High school graduate or equivalent required
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years security or law enforcement experience is required; five (5) years hospital security/supervision experience preferred. Must be subject matter expert in the areas of security management, de-escalation, appropriate use of force, and crisis management
Certifications/Licensure: Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (“CHPA”) certification or equivalent required within one (1) year of hire; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is desired
